In Memoriam

To the venerated memory of Shaikh Abdel Wahed Yahya (René Guénon, 1886-1951), who reminded the West of the metaphysics it no longer understood, and gave back to our esoterism the doctrine without which a rite is no more than a well-executed form.

To the eternal glory of Albanashar Al-Wali (Fermín Vale Amesti, 1923-1999), "the Master of Caracas," faithful follower of the Western initiatic tradition, through whom the ancient and true Art of the Sacred Tradition was intimated to me.

To the memory of the man who, at the precise moment, showed me the veil of Isis and had the generosity not to lift it. He pointed out the way and waited until my eyes were ready. He kept the mystery, thereby, in the only way a mystery can be kept: by transmitting it.

May the Eternal East receive them, and may what they transmitted go on lighting the horizon of those who come after.
